Project 40 has 40 stars (each worth £1 000) that make up its dream of raising £40 000 for Family Care
Please sign up to one (or more!) of our stars and raise or donate £1 000 by the end of 2008 (the sooner the better!):
- Can you and your family be sponsored to participate in an event(s)?
- Could your business sponsor one of our stars?
- Will your organisation match your fundraising success so that £500 raised by you is turned into £1000?
- Could you donate £782 by gift aid (£800 from 6.4.08 following tax changes)? If you are a UK taxpayer, Family Care can claim back 28p (25p from 6.4.08) for every £1 which means that your £782 (£800 from 6.4.08) becomes £1000 to Family Care
- Could your organisation have Family Care as its ‘charity for 2008’?
- Could your family or work team join with another family or work team and sign up to supporting a star together?
Whilst Family Care receives funding for some parts of its work, other parts are unfunded. These areas include parts of the emotional and practical support to children and families, and support to adopted people, adoptive families and birth parents. Family care offers services to users who cannot pay for the support they receive. £40 000, will help to fund this work - every single penny of all money raised will go directly to supporting Family Care’s work.
